Each new build of AxCrypt has continued to have a broken icon link in Windows 10 Start Menu. I have completely removed the program using Revo uninstaller’s advanced clean utility which cleans all elements of the program and its registry keys; nonetheless, the AxCrypt icon is broken in Windows 10 Start Menu. The source executable program icon is of course intact, it is only the link which appears in the Windows 10 Start Menu that is broken. Perhaps the developer can fix this small, minor bug in the next build?
Apologies for the long delay, We missed this forum.
AxCrypt is a user-mode software, we can install/uninstall the AxCrypt app like the other applications/softwares.
We are not sure about the other uninstaller softwares, but AxCrypt works fine when we uninstall the app using the default windows uninstall technology. If we use the default, AxCrypt app-related contents(except manually created shortcuts) will also get removed from the system.
So this is not because of the AxCrypt app, this might be because of the third party uninstall software. Please check with their support or use windows uninstall.
