    can it be possible to store the private key (ie pwd as far as i anderstand) to a USB key

    then get rid of it from the hard drive where folder are crypted , and been ask to insert the USB stick to do the check

    replacing in a word the storage of the crypt id from u site to a USB key

    No, not quite. AxCrypt is essentially a password based encryption software – but with some public key extensions for convenience and secure sharing with others.
