Using Windows, when I temporarily attach a USB drive it might be D: or E: or whatever. If I encrypt a folder on a USB drive, will AxCrypt work even if that drive changes its drive designation?

Hello cass,

Yes, although the ‘recent files list’ will remove the files when they appear to have ‘disappeared’. But the files remain encrypted, and will open with AxCrypt.
