    Hello,

I have some files that are encrypted by AxCrypt with 2 passwords. I don´t know anymore how I have managed this.

I have to fill in 2 passwords (one after the other) to decrpyt the file.

Could someone describe how this can be realized ?

The reason for my question is that I ´d like to encrypt all files with 2 passwords.

What I have to do to relize this?

    Many thanks.

    Mike

You can’t encrypt a password with two files.

You’ve probably encrypted the file in version 1 and then decrypted it in version 2. That’ll prompt you for your version 2 password and then, when that doesn’t work, your version 1 password.

No files are encrypted with two passwords and it’s not possible to do so either. Using two passwords makes you no more safe – just use a longer password instead if you’re worried.
